Assessments for the occupational qualifications are done at assessment centres. External assessment centres are accredited by the QCTO for the purpose of conducting the EISA for registered occupational qualifications. An application to become an assessment centre must be done online on the QCTO website  .

In the case of the two ministry qualifications on the occupational sub-framework (SAQA IDs  101997 and  101571). HWSETA was appointed as the Quality Partner by QCTO and will be processing the Assessment Centre applications submitted.

Interested applicants should familiarise themselves with the following documents before applying for accreditation:

  •  QCTO Policy on Accreditation of Assessment Centres which inter alia identifies the minimum criteria for the accreditation of an assessment centre and the assessment centre accreditation process.
